When stressed out at work, manage 5 minutes for chair Yoga that can give a fresh feeling and energize you again. Doing few muscular movement or simply an eye exercise sitting on your chair can make you feel better.

Another concept is “Dibya Yoga” or therapy in 2 mins. We indicate 1 or 2 precise poses that require only a minute or two. Like homeopathy this low potency dose of Yoga becomes extremely effective natural healing when you repeat it every hour or two. Rather than exercising once, these repetitions are many times more effective.

Begin at Bed

You can stretch your muscles sitting right on your bed. Just shoulder stretching and spine tilting can give a wonderful start to the day.  Begin with five minutes of stretching, and then gradually increase your time.

In the morning you should breathe deeply and stretch to kick start metabolism. Air quality is best in the morning as pollution percentage is low. Do yoga breathing exercises and some stretching for 10 minutes as the increased blood flow through your brain helps improve your mental acuity for your daily task.

It’s simple, to brisk walk for 20 mins. You can even skip your walk and do it while coming back from office. Practice chair Yoga stretches at office when you are physically tired and cramped.

After a day’s work, another session of 15-20 minutes can be added. Few yoga postures followed by pranayams and meditation can relax your mind and body, rendering sound sleep.

Be Aware All Day

Make it a habit to sit straight while travelling in a car, bus or train. When you are standing try to stand straight. These small practices can prevent many occupational diseases.

Recent researches shows that sitting with straight spine can increase brain functioning and stimulation to the whole nervous system. This will make you to complete your work most effectively.
