Symptoms of Indigestion

Fullness during a meal: A person feels that his/her stomach has got full very soon after the meal start and cannot complete the full meal.

Fullness after a meal: A person may feel that his/her stomach remains overly full in stomach for a long time after the meal.

Epigastric burning sensation or pain: The epigastric area is between the lower end of the chest bone and the navel. A person may feel pain ranging from mild to severe or also a burning sensation in the epigastric area.

Other than the above listed symptoms, some more symptoms of indigestion are:

• Loss of appetite

• Distaste in meals

• Gas formation

• Bubbling sound in stomach

• Heaviness in abdomen

• Feeling of dizziness and tiredness

• Burning throat and esophagus

• Distension of stomach
