Mandukasana (Frog Pose)

Mandukasana gives knee joint pain relief. It helps in toning the muscles of the thigh region and increasing the flexibility of the legs. This pose improves the mobility of the knee and ankle joints. Steps to be followed:

Step 1 Sit on the floor and get into Vajrasana pose.

Step 2 The posterior should be resting on the ground in between the feet of the folded legs.

Step 3 Widen your legs. Both feet should be facing each other with the big toes of both feet touching each other.

Step 4 Place your palms on the knees.

Step 5 Keep your back straight and look in front.

Step 6 Hold this position and count as suggested. Breathing will be normal.

Step 7 Come back from the posture and take rest in sabasana.
